We’re excited that you’re interested in experiencing FBC Adel.

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be slightly intimidating, so we want to make the experience as worry free as possible. We have listed answers to a few common questions below. If there is anything further you would like more information on, feel free to contact us!

WHAT TO EXPECT …

Expect to see people like you! Dress according to you, whether you’re wearing your Sunday’s best or a more casual style. We are more concerned about the inside than what you wear on the outside. We want everyone to feel at home and free to worship.

Expect to encounter real people, living in the real world, in love with the real God. Regular people seeking to find grace, truth, authenticity and intimacy with God. People who don’t have it all figured out, but like you, are on a journey.

Expect to receive a warm, friendly greeting when you arrive. Someone will be there to assist you when you enter.

Expect to understand and enjoy services on Sundays and activities on Wednesdays. The messages are relevant, engaging and down to earth. Expect to belong to a community in Sunday School before Sunday morning worship. There is a place for you!

Expect great music and fellowship experiencing life together.

Expect your children to love it. Your children will explore and learn about God in ways that engage them. For families with children ages 4 and under, nursery is provided. Kindergarten to third grade will go to children’s church during the preaching portion of the morning service. You will find a safe, secure, fun environment for your children and preschoolers. There are Sunday and Wednesday evening activities and classes geared specifically for children from birth to fifth grade.

Expect your teenager to make new friends and enjoy an energetic time of worship where your teenager will be challenged and inspired on Sunday evenings and grow close with Jesus and other teens on Wednesday evenings.

Most importantly, expect to experience the love of Christ.
