Bill Marlette, Senior Pastor
Bill Marlette is the Senior Pastor at FBC Adel. He has the responsibility for preaching and teaching God’s Word each week and setting the vision and strategy for our church. He comes with a background in business and understands the challenges of balancing work, family, school, and church.
Pastor Bill is married to LeAnne and they have two grown sons, Caleb married to Mychal Riley (they are expecting their first child this November!), and Micah, who is in college. They came to Adel in 2013 after serving churches in New Orleans, LA and Augusta, GA.
He has a Business Management undergraduate degree from Shorter University and holds a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family and an occasional round of golf.
Doug Stevens, Assoc. Pastor of Worship and Discipleship
Doug joined the staff at FBC as Associate Pastor of Worship and Discipleship in January 2016.  His responsibilities include the supervision of the musical as well as technical ministries related to worship as well as the Adult Division of the Sunday School Ministry at FBC.  He also enjoys providing support and leadership to the Senior Adult Ministry known as The S. A. M.’s Club.

Doug and his wife, Janie, have been married since 1981 and are blessed with two grown children, Stefanie and Stan.  He enjoys watching football (college and professional), walking, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and family.

Christopher Rivers, Assoc. Pastor of Students and Families
Chris is the Associate Pastor of students and families at FBC Adel. He has the responsibility of growing students and families in their knowledge of Christ. His vision is to Equip, Evangelize, and Encourage young people to live out their faith in Christ. 
Chris came to Adel in 2015 after serving in Dothan, AL.He also served for two years at Global Youth Ministries in Chatsworth, Georgia. In January 2017, he married his wife Kathryn. 
Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Studies from Baptist College of Florida in 2014. He enjoys spending time with his wife, making amazing BBQ, watching sporting events, and schooling students in disc golf.
